The 3 Valleys ski area is the largest in the world. The lift in Saint Martin takes you to the ridge between Les Menuires and Meribel. From here you can ski the Saint Martin de Belleville area or be in Meribel or Les Menuires in 20 minutes. You can be in Courchevel 1850 or La Tania in just over an hour and reach Val Thorens and the far side of the Courchevel Valley in about 1.5 hours - depending on your skiing ability of course. St Martin de Belleville, quite literally nestles in the heart of the 3 Valleys (Les Trois Vallées) and the resorts of Meribel, Meribel Mottaret, Courchevel 1850 1650, La Tania, Les Menuires and Val Thorens are all at the tip of your skis. Ski / Board School (ESF St Martin de Belleville) There is an excellent ski and board school in St Martin de Belleville right at the foot of the lift. Both children and adults are catered for offering a wide range of lessons and courses with English speaking instructors. You can choose from private or group lessons and these are all available by the hour / morning / day or week long course. The school is very progressive and will help you to really move your skiing / boarding on quickly. Nervous skiers are specially looked after and will find their confidence will grow with good instruction on the easy slopes above the village.
For younger children that are not a ski school full time, there are excellent creche and child minding facilities available in St Martin. For children under 30 months, this is based on play, arts and crafts, sledging and so on. For children aged 3 and 4, you can opt for play in the morning and skiing in the afternoon, which is a gentle initiation to the sport based on play.

Here at our chalet, Chalet Chardon Bleu, you will find spacious bedrooms, tastefully decorated in typical Mountain Style - and naturally all rooms are en-suite. Real feather pillows and fluffy goose down duvets to sink into at the end of a challenging day skiing. There are two dinner servings - one at 6.30pm for our younger guests and later at around 8.00pm for everyone else, ensuring that the ambiance in the dining room is perfect for everyone. Only the freshest seasonal ingredients are used, personally selected by the owner to create menus that offer a mix of French and contemporary cuisine - in sensible portions that reflect the amount of calories you burn each day whilst skiing! Above all you will find a warm and personal welcome from the owners, who host dinner each evening, provide free ski guiding to ensure you make the most of this outstanding ski area. At Mountain Action we aim to exceed rather than just meet your every expectation.
